Defining modern elegance

Pure Design Living (PDL) is an interior design studio focusing on beautiful and functional design for everyday living. Founder Virginia Baldacchino has worked in the industry for nearly 15 years and has a plethora of knowledge and talent.

Justine has worked with Virginia on corporate identity for her former brand Pure Design Concepts (PDC) and most recently on her latest rebrand for Pure Design Living. With the former logo design for PDC she wanted to create a symbol that resembled the interior of a space from a birds eye view, and that also incorporated the acronym PDC. A similar concept was carried forward into the design of the logotype for PDL.

PDC – Old Design

PDL – New Design

For the new identity Virginia wanted to keep a similar look and feel to the logo for PDC. Justine focused on maintaining the simplicity and linear look of the PDC logo. She worked with Virginia on a colour scheme that felt fresh and inviting, with dusty pink as the primary colour and true black for all copy.

The business card is simple and carries the linear look through vertical typography. For the back of the card Justine suggested printing the logo in a spot gloss.
